One story holds that the previous owners of our summer cottage, the Florsheims, named it Truro Woods because the house stood so far east in Provincetown it might as well have been in Truro. The other tradition asserts that one Florsheim wanted to buy in Truro and the other in Provincetown, so the name was a compromise.* This is what it looked like during the summer of 2002.
