The gap between the old wooden bulkhead and the new wooden structure was filled
in with a mixture of sand and Portland cement mixed in a cement truck on
Commercial Street.
The flowable fill is watery enough to flow through a tube.
It got mixed in a cement truck on Commercial Street and pumped by another machine...
...out to where it's needed.
Here is the fill in place (the beach is on the right). Inadvertent excess was removed.
At last, Lise and Mark Burgess, the engineer admire the finished, capped bulkhead.
